On-ramp to Connector from Fairview will intermittently close overnight this week
BOISE –  The I-184 (Connector) on-ramp from Fairview Avenue to downtown Boise will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. this week (week of July 13) for maintenance work on the ramps, the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) announced.

When the on-ramp from Fairview is closed, traffic will be detoured to I-184 from the on-ramp at Orchard Street. Click here for a map of the detour route.

This work is part of ITD’s project to extend the lifespan of 10 bridges in the Treasure Valley by the end of August. During the summer, nighttime and morning lane closures will be in place as crews work on each bridge. The schedule for this work is weather dependent.

Work on the bridges includes surface maintenance on the decks, patching concrete and waterproofing. When complete, ITD estimates this maintenance will extend the lifespan of the bridge surfaces by up to 20 years.

Upcoming work locations will be announced via email and on 511.idaho.gov.
