Drivers can expect I-90 lane closures overnight Aug. 27, Aug. 28
COEUR d'ALENE - Motorists on Interstate 90 in Post Falls can expect one lane to close westbound overnight Aug. 27 and one eastbound lane closed overnight Aug. 28 as crews begin the next stage of work on the Greensferry Overpass. The I-90 closures, overnight from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. each day, will allow crews to remove concrete forms and overhang brackets on the bridge.

The contractor will install final wall panels for the southern ramp and begin pouring sidewalk and wall cap for the northern ramp. Roadway work is expected to begin along the Greensferry local-access lane connecting to Schneidmiller Avenue and the new turn lane on Seltice Way, just east of Greensferry Road. In addition, installation of a traffic signal at Seltice Way and Greensferry Road is anticipated to begin Aug. 26.

Work on the overpass began in late 2014. The overpass is expected to finish late this year.

The Post Falls Urban Renewal Agency is funding this $15 million project. The contractor is Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction.
