Sidewalk and lane restrictions will be temporarily lifted during Boise State's first home game on Friday
BOISE – On Friday (Sept. 4), the Idaho Transportation Department will reopen the sidewalk and far-right lane on west Broadway Avenue near the Boise River. The restrictions will be temporarily lifted to accommodate the anticipated high volume of vehicle and pedestrian traffic for Boise State's first home football game.
ITD is planning to open the sidewalk and far west lane around noon on Friday. The restrictions will remain lifted through the holiday weekend and put back in place Monday evening (Sept. 7).
Earlier this week, crews began utility work as part of preparation for replacing the Broadway Bridge over the Boise River. Crews will resume work on Tuesday morning (Sept. 8).
