Public transportation advisory group seeks eastern Idaho representative
BOISE - The Public Transportation Advisory Committee (PTAC) is
seeking a representative for District 6 in eastern Idaho to serve on their
advisory council. The individual selected will represent Lemhi, Custer, Clark, Butte, Jefferson,
Madison, Teton, Bonneville and Fremont counties.
A PTAC district application was released Sept. 14 and may be
accessed at itd.idaho.gov and clicking on “Public Transportation.” Then, click
on the “District 6 PTAC Application” link at the top of the page. The
application may also be requested from the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD)
by calling (208) 334-8210. The deadline for submitting completed applications
is Oct. 15.
PTAC was created to advise the transportation department on
issues related to public transportation in Idaho. It is composed of six
members, one representing each of ITD’s administrative districts.
