ITD replacing two culverts crossing Idaho 53 Wednesday near Hauser
COEUR d'ALENE - For driver safety, Idaho Transportation Department crews will remove and replace two worn out 36-inch diameter Hauser Creek culverts that cross Idaho 53 near Pleasant View Road on Wednesday (Sept. 16). The location is two miles east of Hauser.
From 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pacific time, the road will be closed at the intersection of Pleasant View and Prairie roads, and traffic will be detoured onto Prairie and Pleasant View, then back to the main highway. Local traffic will still be able to access Cloverleaf Road and Hauser Lake Road.
Drivers can expect flaggers, but no speed reductions.
Four electronic message boards will be used to alert motorists to the upcoming work and detour.
