Lane restrictions and flagging on Idaho 55 near Cascade through late this week (Sept. 15-18)

BOISE – Idaho 55 will be reduced to one lane just north of Cascade today through Friday (Sept. 15-18). Flaggers will direct traffic in alternating directions across the North Fork Payette River Bridge as crews place the final concrete deck for the new structure. The new bridge is expected to be complete by the end of September.

Lane restrictions will be in place on Idaho 55 at the bridge from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today through Friday. On Thursday night (Sept. 17), lanes will also be restricted from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Drivers traveling between Cascade and McCall should plan for delays during this work.

ITD is replacing the North Fork Payette River Bridge to meet today’s traffic loads and safety standards.
