Forum on Transportation Investment to present funding recommendations on Thursday, July 20 in Coeur d'Alene
BOISE - The Forum on Transportation Investment, an independent group charged with making recommendations for funding Idaho's future transportation needs, will present its findings at a public meeting Thursday in Coeur d'Alene.

Following a 30-minute presentation on funding alternatives, the public will be asked to comment on regional transportation needs and possible ways of funding those projects. Individuals can speak during the regular session or provide private testimony afterward. A sign-up sheet will be available for persons who want to speak.
Written comments can be made via e-mail to comments@itd.idaho.gov

The forum developed 12 conclusions and 14 policy and revenue recommendations after a two-year statewide process to address surface transportation needs in Idaho.

The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. at the Coeur d'Alene Inn, 414 W. Appleway Ave. It is the fourth of six regional meetings planned throughout the state.
