TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Interstate 84 Exit 26 to Notus/Parma will be closed Saturday (Oct. 24)
BOISE – On Saturday (Oct. 24), the Idaho Transportation Department will close the Interstate 84, Exit 26 interchange to Notus/Parma. Crews will be paving the roadway and ramps during the closure.
The closure will begin at 7 a.m. and is anticipated to be open by 5 p.m. Traffic will be detoured around the closures via Exit 25 (Simplot Road) and Exit 27 (Idaho 44).
Once paving is complete, the roadway and ramps will be open to traffic. The speed limit on U.S. 20/26 will be 25 mph until the middle of next week.
These improvements are part of ITD’s project to repave ramps at five interchanges in southwest Idaho. Maintaining the ramps will extend the life of the roadway surface. Upcoming work locations will be announced via email and on 511.idaho.gov.
ITD asks drivers to plan ahead, pay attention and slow down in work zones, and be aware of the safety of construction crews.
