Left lanes of I-90 close Friday morning for removal of Greensferry barrier
COEUR d'ALENE - The left lane in both directions of Interstate 90 will close Friday (Nov. 6) in Post Falls for removal of median barrier. This is part of the wrap up of the year-long, $15 million Greensferry Overpass project funded by the Post Falls Urban Renewal Agency. The project improves connectivity, traffic mobility and emergency response between the business districts and residential areas north and south of the interstate.
The eastbound left lane will close from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday, and the westbound will close from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Electronic message boards are already in place to alert drivers to the upcoming brief closures.
