Status of ITD’s new revenue and General Fund surplus projects
BOISE - To follow up on Idaho Transportation Department Director Brian Ness’ presentation to the Idaho Legislature’s Joint Finance and Appropriations Committee this morning (Thursday, Jan. 14), below is a listing of the status of the 27 projects funded by the new revenue approved last summer, and also the 17 General Fund surplus projects:

General Fund Surplus Projects - All 17 projects are awaiting legislative spending authority.
New Revenue Projects - Ten are complete, four more are in progress and the remaining 13 will start this spring or summer.
District 1 - Northern Idaho
U.S. 95, Smith Creek to Sheep Creek Cost: $12.3M Status: Winter Hold
U.S. 2, Bridge-Deck Life Extensions Cost: $1M Status: Complete
District 2 - North-central Idaho
Bridge-Deck Life Extensions Cost: $700,000 Status: Begin Spring 2016
Districtwide Bridge Repairs Cost: $1.1M Status: Complete
U.S. 95, Pollock Road Turnbay Cost: $680,000 Status: Complete
