Signal at University and Broadway Avenue in Boise will be replaced with temporary four-way stop
BOISE – The intersection of University Drive and Broadway Avenue will temporarily operate as a four-way stop beginning Friday (Mar. 25). The intersection will be controlled by a flashing red light for several days to prepare drivers for the upcoming change.
Early next week, the signal will be turned off, and traffic through the intersection will be controlled by stop signs. ITD anticipates the four-way stop configuration will remain in place at University Drive and Broadway Avenue for approximately the next two months.
The temporary changes will give crews space to work on a signal that is being installed as part of construction for the new Broadway Avenue Bridge. ITD reminds drivers, pedestrians and cyclists to leave early, know your route and plan extra time for travel.
