Local towing service to help keep I-90 moving during construction project

COEUR d'ALENE - Local towing company Don’s Towing is offering 24-hour towing service in order to keep both lanes open during this summer’s Mullan-to-Montana project on Interstate 90. Because only one eastbound and one westbound lane will be available for travel, the towing company is offering the service in order to keep both lanes open at all times. The tow from the I-90 lanes is free.

The towing service is a local company that can be on site within a matter of minutes, and can be reached at 208 682-5442.

“The towing is free through the start and finish (top of the hill) of the project, which is a significant benefit to us and the driving public in general, as it keeps the lanes open and traffic flowing,” explained District 1 Administrative Manager Scotty Fellom.

Fellom explained that the towing company will tow the disabled vehicle for free to a large turnout at the top of the hill, or to Exit 69 at the bottom of the hill. If the owner of the vehicle wants to continue, they will only be charged from that point on.
