(RESENDING) Public transportation group hosts PTAC conference call Tuesday, May 24
BOISE -- Small urban projects, a public transportation
application and an update of Idaho’s public transportation plan will be agenda
topics of a Public Transportation Advisory Council (PTAC) statewide conference
call Tuesday, May 24.
The Idaho Transportation Department’s Public Transportation
Group will host the conference call, which is planned for 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
(MST). The conference-call meeting is open to the public and may be accessed by
calling toll free (888) 221-0253. Use 1234 as the Pin and Numeric ID.
The PTAC was
created to advise the transportation department on issues related to public
transportation. Per Idaho Code, the council participates in planning
activities, identifies transportation needs and promotes coordinated
transportation systems. It is composed of six members, one representing each of
ITD’s administrative districts.
