Seal coat operations begin on U.S. 95 in mid-June, drivers urged to slow down in each work zone
BOISE-- Pavement preservation work will begin in early June on U.S. 95 between Weiser and New Meadows.
Crews will be placing a seal coat on four sections of highway between Weiser and New Meadows during daytime hours. The speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph in the work zone and pilot cars will guide motorists through each work zone. Only one segment will be under construction at any given time.
During the daytime operation, drivers should expect brief delays. Work will be completed in early July.
Seal coating extends the life of a roadway and improves traction for winter driving safety.
