UPDATE: North Indiana Avenue will remain closed at Karcher Road (Idaho 55) through mid-July
BOISE– North Indiana Avenue will remain closed through mid-July as the Idaho Transportation Department continues to improve the Karcher/Indiana intersection. Once construction activities are complete on the north side of the intersection, ITD will close Indiana Avenue on the south.
Indiana Avenue has been closed at Karcher Road so crews can construct improvements to the intersection. Concrete that was recently placed at the intersection needs time to cure before the roadway is open to traffic.
Traffic is detoured to Homedale Road using Florida Avenue and Montana Avenue. The closure will remain in place 24/7 through the end of July.
ITD reminds drivers the speed limit is reduced in the work zone at the Karcher/Indiana intersection.
