Lane closures on Broadway Avenue this weekend as paving continues at Myrtle and Front (July 22-25)
BOISE – Crews will resume paving operations on Broadway Avenue this weekend (July 22-25). Lane closures will be in place on Broadway Avenue between Front and Myrtle starting Friday night at 8 p.m.
Work will occur through Monday morning. In the vicinity of Broadway, Front and Myrtle area, drivers can expect:
o Lanes will be restricted 24/7. At least one lane will remain open in each direction.
o View the traffic pattern for July 22-25
o Signals will be turned off and flaggers will direct traffic day and night.
Work began earlier this month to improve Broadway Avenue between Front and Myrtle streets. Paving operations are being done on the weekends and expected to be complete by early August.
Work to improve Broadway Avenue between University Drive and Front Street will continue through late summer. These improvements are part of ITD’s Broadway Bridge Replacement Project, which encompasses rebuilding Broadway Avenue north and south of the Boise River.
