U.S. 95 seal coat will take place near Ferdinand Monday-Wednesday (Aug. 1-3)
LEWISTON - A seal coat will be applied to a 3.6-mile section of U.S. 95 between Cummins Road and Rigger Road, about two miles north of Ferdinand, Monday through Wednesday (Aug. 1-3).
The work will be from milepost 263.84 (the end of concrete highway) to milepost 267.44 (Lawyers Creek Bridge).
The highway will be reduced to one lane between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Drivers can expect minor delays of up to 15 minutes, and should be alert for loose gravel on the roadway.
Motorists, especially motorcycles, are encouraged to exercise caution when traveling through the area. Drivers should plan for pilot-car delays and reduced traffic speed.
Knife River Corp. is the contractor for this work.
