Broadway Avenue will close between Myrtle and Front streets this weekend (August 5-8) for paving work
BOISE – Crews will continue paving operations on Broadway Avenue at the Front Street intersection this weekend (August 5-8). Paving work will begin on Friday at 8 p.m. and be complete by Monday at 6 a.m.
During paving work, drivers can expect:
* Broadway Avenue will be closed between Myrtle and Front streets.
* Motorists will be detoured to Park Blvd., Front, Myrtle and Avenue A.
* Additional lane restrictions will be in place on Front Street.
* Signals will be turned off and flaggers will direct traffic day and night.

Work to improve Broadway Avenue between University Drive and Front Street will continue through late summer. These improvements are part of ITD’s Broadway Bridge Replacement Project, which encompasses rebuilding Broadway Avenue north and south of the Boise River.
