Idaho 21 from Idaho City to Lowman to reopen tomorrow morning
BOISE--A section of Idaho 21 closed due to the Pioneer Fire, will reopen at 9 a.m. Tuesday (Aug. 9).
The Idaho Transportation Department strongly encourages only essential traffic to resume using Idaho 21 over the next several days due to smoky conditions/low visibility and fire-vehicle activity in the area.
The highway, from Rabbit Creek Road to the Banks-Lowman Road, has been closed since July 26 to ensure the safety of the traveling public and fire crews working in the area.
Motorists are encouraged to check 511.idaho.gov for the latest on all road closures and conditions.
