Range fire closes portion of U.S. 20 west of Ashton
RIGBY An uncontrolled range fire threatened U.S. 20 east of Ashton today and prompted closure of the highway between Ashton and Chester, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The highway closed between mileposts 355 and 357 at 11:50 a.m. ITD officials expected the closure to be in effect up to four hours.
No other information about the cause or size of the fire was available.
