Idaho Transportation Board subcommittee on 129,000-pound truck routes to meet Oct. 3
POCATELLO - The Idaho Transportation Board is holding a subcommittee meeting Monday (Oct. 3) at 1:30 p.m. in Pocatello to discuss an application to allow trucks weighing up to 129,000 pounds on a section of U.S. 30 in eastern Idaho.
The meeting will be at the Idaho Transportation Department's Pocatello office, 5151 South 5th Avenue.
This is the second subcommittee meeting to consider the U.S. 30 route application. There were technical difficulties during a meeting that was held on Sept. 20.
The subcommittee's options include, but are not limited to, holding the request for additional information or recommending the Board reject or approve the application. The result of any decisions will be presented to the full transportation board at a future meeting.
Public testimony will not be taken at the meeting.
Those interested in observing the subcommittee's proceedings can do so via video conference at the transportation department's office in Coeur d'Alene (600 W. Prairie Avenue, Coeur d'Alene), at the transportation department's Headquarters in Boise (3311 W. State Street, Boise) or by attending the meeting in Pocatello.
