Section of Idaho 55 north of Banks is closed
BOISE - A section of Idaho 55 closed early this morning after a semi truck hauling produce overturned when the driver swerved to avoid a deer.
The accident happened at about 3:37 a.m. Thursday about a mile north of Banks and close to Garden Valley Road. The section closed is from milepost 78 to milepost 84.
One lane remained open Thursday morning for some time. Both lanes were then closed while a tow truck worked to clear the scene. Reopening is expected later this morning.
