CLARIFICATION: Idaho 55 reopens to one lane
BOISE - Idaho 55 north of Banks reopened to one lane this morning after a tipped-over semi was cleared from the highway.
The other lane of the highway remains closed as the accident clean up continues. Motorists should expect significant delays in this area until it can be cleared.
The accident happened at about 3:30 a.m. a mile north of Banks when the driver of the semi swerved to avoid a deer, tipping the rig over. The section of highway, between milepost 78 and milepost 84, reopened to one lane at 9:34 a.m.
