Lane restrictions and flaggers will direct traffic at the Eagle and Franklin intersection Sunday night
BOISE – On Sunday night (Oct. 30), flaggers will direct traffic at the Eagle and Franklin intersection between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. During this time, the Idaho Transportation Department will complete the work of installing the new traffic signal.
The new traffic signal will be in operation on Monday morning (Oct. 31). ITD replaced the signal to accommodate the third northbound lane and a right-turn lane at the intersection. The new third northbound lane and right-turn lane will not be open until late-November.
All lanes will remain open during the day on Eagle Road. Nighttime lane restrictions will continue as crews widen northbound Eagle Road to three lanes between Franklin Road and Fairview Avenue.
All work is weather-dependent.
