Idaho 55 north of Banks fully reopens to traffic
BOISE - Both lanes of Idaho 55 north of Banks reopened at 11:45 this morning (Aug. 31), following an accident involving a semi truck, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
Clean-up work continues and motorists should expect delays in this area until it can be cleared.
The accident happened at about 3:30 a.m. a mile north of Banks when the driver of the semi swerved to avoid a deer, tipping the rig over. The section of highway, between milepost 78 and milepost 84, reopened to one lane at 9:34 a.m.
