Teton County driver’s license office reopened
DRIGGS – The Teton County office, located at 230 N. Main St., Suite #160, has reopened and is ready to serve customers seeking new driver’s licenses, identification (ID) cards, and various permits.
The office was closed temporarily while the Idaho Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) installed new software. The system was not working properly due to a bandwidth issues.
DMV converted all county offices to the new software over the past three weeks. Many offices are still getting accustomed to the new system, and customers may experience longer wait times than usual. Those who don’t have an urgent need to renew expiring licenses, ID cards, or permits are asked to wait until December to do so.
