U.S. 30 west of Buhl closed for flooding at Deep Creek
BUHL - A one-mile section of U.S. 30 is closed to traffic due to flooding and water over the roadway as it crosses Deep Creek in western Twin Falls County.
U.S. 30 is closed between 1000 East Road and 1100 East Road as water has overtopped the highway due to canal damage upstream.
About one foot of water is running over the roadway, creating unsafe conditions for traffic to drive through. Motorists are advised to avoid driving through the area until water levels subside.
Drivers should check 511.idaho.gov for updated road condition on state routes.
