Transportation department accepting comment on intersection project in Pocatello through March 8
POCATELLO – The Idaho Transportation Department is taking public comment through Wednesday (March 8) on a project to install a traffic signal at the U.S. 30/Philbin Road intersection in Pocatello.
The transportation department determined a traffic signal is the most effective way to reduce crashes at the intersection. A traffic signal also is warranted because of an increase in the number of vehicles using Philbin Road.
The signal is expected to be installed in the summer of 2018. Currently, there are stop signs on both directions of Philbin Road at the intersection with U.S. 30.
