Idaho Transportation Board subcommittee on 129,000-pound truck routes to meet Thursday
BOISE - The Idaho Transportation Board subcommittee on 129,000-pound truck routes will meet Thursday (May 25) at 1:30 to consider a request to allow 129,000-pound trucks on sections of U.S. 95, Idaho 3, Idaho 8 and U.S. 12.
The meeting will be at 1:30 p.m. (MDT) at the Idaho Transportation Department’s District 5 office, 5151 South 5th Avenue in Pocatello. It will be available via video conference at the transportation department’s District 2 office in Lewiston, 2600 Frontage Road, and at the transportation department headquarters, 3311 W. State Street in Boise.
Applications have been submitted to allow 129,000-pound trucks on U.S. 95 from Lewiston to the Latah County/Benewah County line (Milepost 311.92 to Milepost 371), Idaho 3 from its junction with U.S. 12 to its junction with Idaho 8 (Milepost 0 to Milepost 29), Idaho 8 from its junction with Idaho 3 to Bovill (Milepost 26.32 to Milepost 36.68) and on U.S. 12 from its junction with U.S. 95 to the Montana border (Milepost 10.13 to Milepost 174.4).
