I-84 westbound on-ramp closed at Franklin Road in Caldwell Friday and Saturday (June 9 and 10) nights
BOISE –The Idaho Transportation Department will close the Interstate 84 westbound on-ramp at Franklin Road (exit 29) in Caldwell Friday and Saturday nights (June 9 and 10) for paving.
• Tonight (June 9), the Franklin Road westbound on-ramp will be closed from 7 p.m. (Friday) to 7 a.m. (Saturday). Motorists will not be able to enter westbound I-84 at Franklin Road in Caldwell.
• On Saturday night (June 10), the Franklin Road westbound on-ramp will be closed from 7 p.m. (Saturday) to 7 a.m. (Sunday). Motorists will not be able to enter westbound I-84 at Franklin Road in Caldwell.
The ramp closure is part of a project to repave I-84 between Nampa and Caldwell this summer. ITD limited major traffic impacts to nights and weekends to keep I-84 open during the weekday commute.
Weather permitting, extended lane restrictions are scheduled for two weekends in June and one in July (June 16-19, June 23-26, July 7-10).
