I-90 bridge work will cause overnight closures starting Sunday (July 16)
COEUR d'ALENE - Bridge work on Interstate 90 starting Sunday night (July 16) will cause overnight closures through Wednesday (July 19) as crews repair the failing roadway and joints in a 12-mile stretch starting at the Washington border.
There will be intermittent lane closures in both directions for this necessary Idaho Transportation Department maintenance work. The work extends from milepost 0 at the state line to milepost 12, at the U.S. 95 interchange.
ITD crews will work on the railroad bridge at milepost 11, the Atlas, Huetter, Spokane Street, and Pleasant View structures, and the Spokane River bridge at the Washington state line. ITD will have a crew working each direction.
The work will be done overnight from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. each day. Speed limit advisory signs will be posted at 45 mph in the work zone in the area of active work.
