Repair on Idaho Highway 8, U.S. 95 in and through Moscow underway
LEWISTON - A Latah County paving job repairing several sections of Idaho Highway 8 and U.S. 95 in and through Moscow is underway now, with milling and paving beginning in earnest Thursday (July 27).

Work on the first of 30 ramps through town began this week, to bring the public sidewalk ramps into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The depth of pavement to be milled off the roadway will vary throughout the project area, depending on level of surface damage. Several sections will be addressed in the project, totaling just over three miles.

Crews will work daylight hours. One lane will be kept open in each direction, with flashing signals at times.

Work on this $3.55 million job, contracted to Poe Asphalt, of Clarkston, Washington, is expected to finish by late September.
