Paving project on Idaho 200 will impact traffic over weekend
COEUR D'ALENE - Paving on Idaho 200 will impact traffic over the Columbus Day weekend, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
Idaho 200 in Ponderay (at the Wayside Corner) will be restricted from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. to one way traffic while crews pave the eastbound lane. This restriction will last through the weekend. Short traffic delays are expected.
The Kootenai Cutoff Road will be closed to through traffic on Monday at the Union Pacific Railroad crossing to pave the westbound lanes of Idaho 200. The highway will be closed from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. The road will be reopened to two way traffic on Tuesday.
Businesses on Kootenai Cutoff Road can be accessed from U.S. 95.
