Transportation department seeks public comment on intersection in American Falls
AMERICAN FALLS - The Idaho Transportation Department is holding a community workshop on Tuesday (March 13) regarding potential improvements to the intersection of Pocatello Avenue and the I-86 Business Loop in American Falls.
The workshop will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the American Falls Public Library (308 Roosevelt St.). Participants will have the opportunity to identify issues and concerns. They also can suggest intersection improvements.
The project is in the early stages of the design process. Additional workshops will be held later this year. The project will address factors such as traffic needs, cost, efficiency, ongoing maintenance and community input. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2021.
