Media Advisory: ITD to donate truck to local college Wednesday

The Idaho Transportation Department will donate a surplus truck to the diesel technology program at the Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) on Wednesday, March 14 at 2 p.m.
A short ceremony will be held at the parking lot at Fourth Street and 11th Avenue near the Normal Hill Cemetery. Bob Schumacher, the operations engineer for ITD in north-central Idaho, will hand over the keys to Andy Kuther, a diesel instructor with LCSC.
The 2008 GMC 3500 Sierra truck requires extensive repairs, which will give students an opportunity to diagnose and repair a newer diesel engine.
