Work begins next week on US-30 near Filer
SHOSHONE---The Idaho Transportation Department will begin widening US-30 west of Filer beginning the week of June 4. This project is designed to improve safety and reduce crashes in the area.
Work is expected to be complete in the coming weeks and is weather dependent.
During construction, US-30 right and left turn lanes will be constructed near E 4000 N Road. In addition, left turn lanes will be added near E 3950 N Road.
Construction is scheduled Monday through Friday during daytime hours. Motorists should plan for lane reductions and short delays in the work zone. Flaggers will be guiding traffic during work hours.
Knife River is the contractor.
