Work on Idaho Highway 46 from US-30 to Ken Curtis Bridge to begin next week

SHOSHONE--As early as Monday, July 16, daytime traffic on Idaho Highway 46 north of Buhl will be reduced to one lane while work is completed along a five-mile stretch of roadway.

Initial work will begin in July and include curb ramp reconstruction and guardrail replacement. Paving will then follow throughout August. Subject to weather, work is expected to be completed by late summer.

Reduced speeds will be in place throughout the construction zone. Drivers should be prepared for short delays and watch for flaggers and pilot cars during working hours - Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The general contractor is Knife River from Boise.
