US-30 wide load restrictions in place through end of August due to road construction
LAVA HOT SPRINGS – Loads wider than 12 feet are restricted during road construction on US-30 between Potters Road and Bancroft Substation Road (2 to 6 miles east of the Lava Hot Springs area).
The highway is being repaved, and crews are also performing shoulder work and trenching. A 45 mph speed reduction is being enforced through the construction zone. Motorists are reminded to drive with caution and watch for loose gravel on the roadway.Wide loads will be restricted in the area until construction is complete by August 31. Drivers should plan travel routes accordingly during this time, and check 511 for current roadway updates.
