Interagency Working Group to meet Jan. 9 in Boise
BOISE - The Interagency Working Group (IWG), a coalition of agencies and organizations that provides guidance on public transportation issues, will meet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

The meeting will be at the Idaho Commission on Aging, 3380 Americana Terrace in Boise.

Agenda items will include presentations on ITD's 511 Traveler Service Web site and telephone service, and the Department of Health and Welfare's 211 Idaho CareLine, a community information and referral service. Statewide public transportation planning and grant coordination requirements also will be discussed.

IWG's mission is to provide leadership in developing coordinated, responsible and integrated public transportation systems in the state.

The group's members include representatives from the transportation department, the Division of Medicaid, Community Transportation Association of Idaho, Commission on Aging, Department of Health and Welfare, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Department of Commerce and Labor, Department of Education, the Council on Developmental Disabilities, Idaho Head Start Association and the Office of the Governor.
