U.S. 20, Idaho 87 reopen in eastern Idaho
IDAHO FALLS - Two state highways in eastern Idaho that were closed early this morning because of severe winter driving conditions have reopened, announced the Idaho Transportation Department.

U.S. 20 between Ashton and Island Park, over the Targhee Pass, and Idaho 87 between Henrys Lake and the Montana/Idaho line reopened at 4:34 p.m. Both had been closed since 1:20 a.m.

For the latest information about highway and weather conditions in Idaho, call 5-1-1 or access the Web site at 511.idaho.gov 24 hours a day. Updates are made twice daily or whenever conditions change.
