Public invited to discuss Timmerman Rest Area project Feb. 15
SHOSHONE- An open house to discuss design alternatives for the reconstruction of Timmerman Rest Area at the intersection of U.S. 20 and Idaho 75 will be held Thursday, Feb. 15, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The meeting will be in room 301-2 at the Hailey Community Campus, 1050 Fox Acres Rd. in Hailey between 5:30pm and 7:30 p.m.
Displays showing design alternatives for the reconstruction of the rest area facilities, parking, access and water treatment areas will be available. Comments gathered will be considered during design development.
The design concept process is anticipated to be complete in March, followed by development of the final design. Project construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2010.
