Inspection Authorization renewal training offered for aircraft mechanics
BOISE - Inspection Authorization (IA) renewal training will be offered by the Idaho Transportation Department's Division of Aeronautics on March 2 at Boise's Airport Holiday Inn.
The training complies with annual IA renewal requirements as specified in Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) part 65. All aviation mechanics are welcome to attend.
The cost is $60 and the training will run for one day only. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m.; followed by classes from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Seating is limited to 100. Lunch will be included if registration and payment are made on or before Tuesday, Feb. 27.
The training will review aircraft loads and repairs, propeller maintenance, wiring inspections, evaluating alterations and federal regulations.
