Culvert replacement to close U.S. 20 business loop northeast of St. Anthony March 19, 20
RIGBY - A section of the U.S. 20 business loop northeast of St. Anthony will be closed March 19-20 for maintenance, the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) announced.
ITD will replace a rusted metal culvert beneath the highway less than one-half mile east of Radio Road. Crews will install a 48‑inch diameter plastic culvert in place of the 24‑inch diameter metal one, which is collapsing.
ITD will close a quarter-mile stretch of the business loop in the culvert area.
To complete the project in two days, crews will work an aggressive schedule, including evenings. The project is scheduled for completion on March 20.
The culvert carries water drainage and sub water from nearby marshlands.
