Intermittent ramp closure on I-15, Exit 47 (Merrill Rd.) begins tomorrow
MCCAMMON - The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) will be intermittently closing Exit 47, Merrill Rd., Southbound off-ramp only in McCammon on Interstate 15 over the next few weeks starting tomorrow (Tuesday, May 7).
ITD is intermittently closing Exit 47 beginning tomorrow,
for a few hours at a time, as the contractor will be laying asphalt in the area and will
need to close the intersection temporarily for the asphalt to cure properly so travelers can drive on the roadway safely.
Drivers are to use Exit 44 (Jensen Rd.), and advised to follow the placed detour
signs to be re-directed during this time.
Traffic will resume as normal in the current single-lane, two-way construction traffic when Exit 47 is open.
