Interchange construction will delay traffic on Rose Road near I-15 this week (May 7-10)
POCATELLO – Drivers can expect brief delays on Rose Road near the I-15 interchange (Exit 98) starting tomorrow, Tuesday through Friday (May 7-10). Crews will be removing asphalt and performing earthwork for the interchange reconstruction project.
Traffic on Rose Road will be shifted onto a gravel surface during the work. One lane of traffic will be open in each direction and access to Rose Road will remain open. Flaggers will direct traffic.
This work is a part of a year-long project to reconstruct the interchange at Rose Road (Exit 98) on Interstate 15. Construction includes widening the Rose Road overpass and increasing its vertical clearance; reconfiguring and lengthening the interchange ramps; and replacing two canal structures to support current traffic loads. The project is expected to be completed in late 2019.
