Detour in place for Milner Gooding Canal Bridge work
SHOSHONE - Traffic will be detoured around work on the Milner Gooding Canal Bridge on Idaho 24 (milepost 65) west of Dietrich using local county roads, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
During the winter months, one-way traffic was detoured around the bridge. Motorists were guided by a temporary traffic signal. Due to the start of the 2007 irrigation season, traffic will now be detoured around the work zone using local county roads. Signs will direct traffic through the detour.
Idaho Construction Inc. of Kimberly is the contractor for this project, which is expected to be finished by May.
