Public Transportation Advisory Council meets May 2 in Boise
BOISE - A meeting of the Public Transportation Advisory Council is set for Wednesday (May 2) from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The meeting will be held in conference room 212 at ITD Headquarters, 3311 W. State St., in Boise.
A review of the group's strategic plan will be discussed. Members also will hear about the grant application process and a 2008 grant application recommendation. An update on the Interagency Working Group's April 10 meeting in Lewiston will be delivered.
The Public Transportation Advisory Council and the Interagency Working Group analyze public transportation needs and identify opportunities to coordinate strategies and public transportation services statewide.
