Milner Gooding Canal Bridge on Idaho 24 now open
SHOSHONE - Work on the Milner Gooding Canal Bridge on Idaho 24 (milepost 65) west of Dietrich is near completion and traffic is no longer detoured around the work zone, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
For several weeks, traffic was detoured around the work zone using local county roads as crews finished bridge work. The bridge is now open to traffic. The speed limit is reduced to 35 mph in the work zone. Motorists are reminded to slow down through the construction area as crews finish the project.
Idaho Construction Inc. of Kimberly is the contractor for this project, which is expected to be complete by May.
