10 Mile Overpass, Interstate 84 westbound right lane closed in 10 Mile area
BOISE - The 10 Mile Overpass and the right hand lane of Interstate 84 close to the 10 Mile Overpass were closed Sunday evening after the overpass was hit by an overheight vehicle that was traveling west on I-84, the Idaho Transportation Department Announced.
The lane closure is from milepost 42.5 to milepost 42 westbound, and is expected to last until Monday (May 7) afternoon. Both I-84 eastbound lanes are open.
Both lanes of the 10 Mile Overpass will remain closed to be examined for structural damage.
Motorists seeking north- or southbound routes across the interstate are advised to use the Garrity Interchange or Blackcat Interchange to the west or the Meridian and Eagle interchanges that are east of the 10 Mile Interchange.
