Lane reductions planned at Fairview Avenue/Eagle Road intersection on Sunday (June 3)
BOISE - Motorists will encounter temporary lane reductions on Sunday (June 3) at the intersection of Eagle Road and Fairview Avenue for pavement repair work, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
Starting at 3 a.m. Sunday, the free-flowing eastbound right turn lane from Fairview onto southbound Eagle Road will close, along with the eastbound right through lane in the intersection area. Two eastbound through lanes will remain open at the intersection and motorists will be allowed to turn southbound onto Eagle Road. However, motorists should expect delays and may want to consider an alternate route.
The closure, scheduled to last through Sunday afternoon, will allow construction crews to repair the pavement after a large gasoline spill last year damaged the road surface.
